Understand how your "battery" gets charged. For instance, introverts usually charge their battery with alone/quiet time. Extroverts usually charge their battery by being with groups of friends.

There's a pretty big body of evidence that says the human brain is not fully developed until about age 25 and that the last area to develop controls judgement, such as character judgement. Conversely, the brain's pure processing speed peaks at just 18.
Psychology should be a required class in both high school and college. If you didn't take it, take it.
